Peter Peerdeman & Peter Gels (VU)

Peter Peerdeman Bluetube is een bluetooth systeem gemaakt door de VU student Peter Peerdeman. Wanneer een bezoeker zijn of haar content via bluetooth naar het systeem stuurt wordt dit automatisch geupload naar Picasa of Youtube. Op deze manier kan een bezoeker van het GOGBOT festival zijn of haar content delen met de rest van het publiek zonder de content handmatig via een pc te hoeven uploaden. Naast de online upload wordt de geuploade content ook direct weergegeven op een projector scherm op de bluetube stand. De Bluetube soft ware kan worden gedownload op http://www.peterpeerdeman.nl/bluetube   Bluetube, created by VU student Peter Peerdeman, is a bluetooth system that waits for users to send their image and video content via bluetooth.Whenever a user sends his image or video it is automatically uploaded to Picasa or Youtube. This way, a visitor of GOGBOT can share his or her content to the rest of the world without having to go through the hassle of copying their content to a pc, creating an online account and manually uploading the content themselves. Because the content is automatically tagged with "gogbot09", the content can easily be found and included in other programs or websites*. In addition to the online upload, the uploaded content is shown right away on a projector screen at the Bluetube stand. Het zoekt de RSS-feeds van populaire media websites als Youtube, Flickr en Picasa af voor films en fotos met een "GOGBOT09" label. Deze worden dan op de webpagina getoond in chronologische volgorde. Op deze manier is er een plaats waar men alle media met betrekking tot het GOGBOT festival kan vinden. GOGBOT 2009 Live Report, created by VU student Peter Gels is an RSS aggegator that searches the feeds of popular media sites as Youtube, Flickr and Picasa (with the ability to easily add in extra feeds) for content labelled with the "GOGBOT09" tag, which it then displays on a webpage in chronological order. This provides a place where all of the user-uploaded content about the GOGBOT festival is gathered, so that they can be easily accessed and shared.
