| Katia Pugach (RU) "The Space Garden" 2009 "Ab Ovo" 2009 Twee nieuwe projecten van de Russische kunstenares Katia Pugach, speciaal ontwikkel voor de Atompunk editie van GOGBOT. The Space Garden is een visuele metafoor op een thema hoe planten en groente groeien onder buitenaardse omstandigheden. De installatie stelt een project voor in een museum uit de toekomst, aangeland bij GOGBOT. Ab Ovo is een installatie waarbij Pugach de paradox en metafysica rond het archetype van het ei behandelt. De afkomst van het ei refereert aan het universele leven, wat zowel kan verwijzen naar alien afkomst of nano-robotica. Zeker is dat The Big Red Egg uit de ruimte komt. Katia Pugach heeft voor het ei-project opnames gemaakt in het Moskouse Museum of Astronautics. The "Space Garden" project Is the visual metaphor on a theme- how to grow up plants and vegetables out of terrestrial conditions. This installation is an art object based in a museum of another civilization which came to "GOGBOT" festival from the future . Human race struggled for a survival and have united by experiments the human genes and plants genes and have received such a result: vegetables , constructed spaceships and have equipped their space-farms that will allow to solve a problem to rescue life on the Earth under the threat of extinction. Ab ovo",(Latin: "from the beginning, the origin, the egg") is attempting to visualize images which have casually come to the artist based on the archetype of the egg. The paradox and metaphysics of an egg archetype is caused by its direct connection with something new and at the same time something well recognized. We never not know what will appear from egg , defiantly new sight of universal life will show up , can be alien or nano-robot. One thing we know that Big Red Egg came from the space sight. Pugach created this installation within the location of the Moscow Museum of Astronautics. |
